AMERRITT, INC. provides quality Land Surveying and Mapping services to the Land Development Community of the Tampa Bay area and surrounding regions along the West coast of Florida.
Although established on 09-09-09, the founding members of
AMERRITT, INC. (Art Merritt & Vicky Robinson) have been a working team for over 35 years. During that time, they have become well respected by the Land Development Community and the Local Governing Agencies, establishing a trustworthy reputation with integrity. Other members of the team have also been together with Art & Vicky since the 1980’s and 1990’s, providing years of experience and a cohesive working environment that provides for a consistent and complete work product, which has become what they are known for.
Their experience and input help to guide their clients and attorneys, Civil Engineers, and other parts of the design teams, down paths of success with each of their Land Development Projects. In doing so, they also give guidance to avoid things down the road that may delay the process of development.

President's Message
“At AMERRITT, INC., we take great pride in everything that we do. Not only are we complete and thorough in our execution of the work product to meet all of the minimum requirements for each job, but each product needs to meet our own level of expectations.
I was taught young in my career that the client doesn’t see all of the research and field work and knowledge that we have acquired for each job. What they do see is the final product. It tells the story of all that research and knowledge. So, tell the entire story and make it clear to read and understand and your client will then be well served.
We expect every one of our jobs, big or small, to be thorough, complete, accurate, pleasing to the eye, and easy to read and follow. And do it in a timely fashion. It is what has become expected of us.
On a daily basis, we prepare Subdivision Plats, Condominium Plats, Boundary Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Description Sketches and numerous Exhibits as required. We also compute Master Plan Layouts of numerous Land Planned Communities for Civil Design. And, because of our experience, we are often called upon for advice on projects that we are not involved in.
Our office atmosphere is a casual, but professional setting to keep the level of the daily pressures low and the production high."
